I’m a design leader, educator, and speaker with a focus on creative direction, human-centered design, typography, branding, accessibility, and art direction.
I recently joined Apple as an Associate Creative Director, Internal Communications.
Previously, I grew and led the product design team at Hearst, evolving it into a high-performing group responsible for custom storytelling, shopping, and advertising experiences—as well as the editorial tools behind them.
I’m a founding partner of Area of Practice, a NYC-based design and branding consultancy.
I’ve taught at Parsons School of Design and guest lectured at Camden County College, Rutgers, SVA, and Kean University.
My work has been recognized by The Art Directors Club, The Type Directors Club, and The Society of Publication Designers. I’ve spoken at design events from New York to Copenhagen and produced talks on politics and the future of media.
